During the preliminary stages of a given project, there lies an opportunity to save considerable dollars throughout the development. One of the tasks we typically undertake in the preliminary stages of a project is performing physical due diligence on the subject property. This typically includes:

  • Obtaining proposals from third party consultants
  • Coordinating Geotechnical and Environmental Due Diligence to determine the type and quality of construction
  • Consider wildlife/endangered habitat and other improvements required to establish the viability of the project layout

We can ascertain the effect of all due diligence results on schedule and budget. In order to meet this, our team does the following processes for our clients:

  • Prepare an Entitlement Schedule for our client’s approval
  • Overlay the Site Plan with the survey to verify accuracy
  • Ensure encumbrances will not interfere with development or operations
  • Participate in all due diligence phone calls with the client and its counsel and consultants

To complete the process, we can prepare a final Due Diligence Report with any updates to the PSA.
